Experts and Participants at Bilateral and Multilateral Talks Overseas are not aware of this. It is one of the major reasons why Economic Policies, whether my IMF, World Bank, IFC or foreign and domestic experts are not working in Nigeria. It is commonsense. Sadly, they don't teach this in Business Schools or Economics class at home or at the Nigerian Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos. And that was the major theme of my shared essay for the last thirty minutes. President Buhari and his team should sit down and make a solid statement and develope a cohesive strategy about permanent solutions to the Nigerian appalling Road Networks, instead of junketing around the globe. And it is very sad that Nigerian Civil Engineers have not been able to unravel why the drainage/gutters on our roads are higher than the road surface or ground floor. It doesn't require a Ph.D. in Engineering to figure that out. But it remains a common feature all over Nigeria. You guys should figure that out because you don't attach value and importance to free stuff on the web.
