Not the Rightway to Break a Relationship

The split between Elon Musk and President Donald J. Trump is hardly the way two gentlemen should end a relationship; it's truly unfortunate.

One has to wonder how the thousands of recently dismissed federal workers are feeling right now.

The Epstein reference feels out of place, unless it was meant to signal deeper disdain for the President.

This fallout, with its unpredictable consequences, could end up being more devastating than the collapse of USAID. Easy come, easy go. I can only wish them well.

As the old saying reminds us, when two mighty elephants clash, it is the grass beneath that bears the bruises.

May this public breakup not cause irreparable organisational and strategic damage to the White House or inflict further hardship on already traumatised Americans.
