PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST

It takes leadership as well as greatness to compromise and make peace with your enemy. The late Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and the late Israeli Prime Minister, Menachem Begin sign on to the 1978 Camp David Accord under President Jimmy Carter because they were willing to jettison the concept of military superiority for sustainable economic development that peaceful co-existence engenders.
Let the truth be told, you cannot vanquish the State of Israel from the face of the earth- it won’t happen. On the other hand, there is not going to be peace in Israel without peace in the occupied territory. Therefore, Israel must be willing to trade land for peace and pull out of the occupied Palestinian territory unconditionally. Finally, Hamas, as well as the Palestinian Authority, should, without delay, recognize the right of Israel to exist side by side with an independent Palestine.

Guys, let’s give peace a chance. Time is of the essence. The children of Israel and the Palestinian children want to leave in peace. Politicians are the problem.
