NIGERIA: SOMETHING ABOUT OUR INTEGRITY

."The Conscience of the nation must be roused" - Fredrick Douglas.
Breached a $12M Contract for the Dredging of the Calabar Port. Ordered arrested September 18, 2018, by a competent court. Allegedly screened, cleared, contested, and won a disputed gubernatorial primary in Imo State.
And that is the story of Senator Nzodinma, the same man, whose candidacy Comrade Adam Oshiomhole is defending with all the vocabularies available in the dictionary, anchored on the strength of his Chairmanship Muscles.
Now you know why buying the electoral process is very easy in Nigeria. It is your money. And it's all about the HIGHEST BIDDERS.
That you want to preempt the enthronement of an Okorocha Political Dynasty is not sustainable an alibi for the enthronement of a veritable scammer as the Lord of the Manor. Give me a break, Nigerians! Where is our conscience?

Ehinon Utubor You're so correct my broda Alex. Now, you can tell how he got the money to pay off Corrupt Oshiomhole for a governorship election ticket. Nigeria is a sick nation. Oshiomhole should not be allowed to walk free on Nigeria streets.

Odion Aloba Our Esan chief, these political criminal dinasures has all the evil stuffs in their cupboard but would succumbing to kleptomaniac okorochas pursuits of making his family an emperor's in Imo state political atmospere - had pleases ur political voice for the impoverished Imolites at large or in diaspora? I am not a fan of Adam osho-iroko of Nigeria but I seldom doffs my golden crown for his shrewed , keen and intellectual perspicacity in knowing when to chameleonically activate his political tentacle in doing what is of public good - to the majority. This is political calculation at Kenneth or apex. More grease to his elbow.

Benson Idin Mr. O. Aloba, unfortunately in Nigeria, especially since its Independence from Great Britain, it's always been situational choices, to quote you, between "two lesser evil".
And that's at the core of problems. Imagine a country filled with people who thinks winning a contract is like winning the lottery, instead of business agreement that must be executed in a way that honors everyone's interest, including that of the contractor and the benefactors of the contract. Hence everything is the ways they are in Nigeria. Worst of all, it's not gonna get better. Because it's the ever prevailing mindsets of almost all Nigerians. The next generations of Nigerians are most likely going to imitate the current and past Nigerian leaders who were/are themselves shamefully corrupt and inept. Every Nigerian unfortunately wants to be the next big shot, the next richest Nigerian, by any means possible. Be it by chicanery, embezzlement, bribery and or corruption: Instead of aiming and aspiring to become the one that would be remembered as the one who by his or her saving grace and good deeds become the one that uplifted Nigeria and majority of Nigerians from abject poverty, irrelevance, and the abyss of oblivious failures. The unsettling ghosts of Hope Uzodinma's of Nigeria, of ignorance and of insatiable greed that exist in every fabrics of Nigeria must also be subdued and arrested to unravel these weighted disabling cultures of ineptitude and corruption in Nigeria. Not just the successful arrest and prosecutions of Mr. Hope Uzodinma of Imo State.

To those of you not conversant with Esan language or Ewohimi dialect, Odion Aloba wants to know (spelling some of the words with American Accent) if Atiku will not cover-up the atrocities of the past leadership (sweep them under the mat), if he wins. This man has been in the Senate for a third term and has been all over the place without this allegation, then Okorocha's wush es to install his son-in- law as the governor of IMO state and was prevented, the governorship aspirant must be stopped at all cost. That is the brand of politics in Nigeria. Even the head of presidential panel of recovery got admission into University of Jos with fake school certificate, nobody has initiated his prosecution. Weep my "beloved" country.

I would respectfully disagree with you on the question of the pot calling kettle black. The way embezzlement of public fund is going presently, EFCC alone cannot stop. The exposure must start within. Now, Nigerians are seeing for the first time a picture view of the sprawling estate built by the Okorocha and the Heaven on Earth edifice belonging to Senator Nzodinma.

Alfonsus Nanna Buhari, Tinubu, Oshiomhole and the entire gang of insincere rulers lack the will and the moral authority to establish the moral architecture that should drive this nation into the next critical phase of its growth. They are very much a part of the problem of this nation that needs to be changed. They cannot at the same time be the solution.

Alex Aidaghese Alfonsus Nanna, I totally agree with you. President Buhari is doing his best. He would make a fine Mayor of an agrarian community. He is not for the moment. Besides, the World has moved beyond the level where his kind of integrity is celebrated.

Chief Asiwaju Tinubu is ideologically deficient. He has a strong footing in Yoruba politics, but better off as a King or a Ceremonial Head of State. Not for the moment. Nothing within his intellectual reach to drive the economic change. He is a consummate politician, without the faintest idea on how to better the living standards of the poor.

Comrade Adam is a dictator, an intellectual snob - innately judgemental. Granted, he has no College/University degree, intellectually, he is head and shoulders above his political colleagues. He is a voracious reader, and he has a better grasp of the English language and political jargons than most of the guys on the scene presently. He knows that, and he is capitalizing on it.

He is not afraid to fight. He would be better off a Military Commander, leading a battalion to the Zambiza forest for a total annihilation.

As a Governor of Edo State, he didn't know what to do to breathe life into Edo Brewery, Bendel Insurance, Ewu Flour Mill, Ukpila Cement Factory, the Edo Livestock, etc, etc. It was all about borrowing and spending. No IGR drive outside Motor Parks and Market Stalls.

So, I agree with you; these are not the people to move Nigeria to the next critical phase of our socio-economic development.
