Chief Justice Roberts and the Making of the Obamacare

With Justice Roberts, a Republican appointee at the helm of affairs at the apex court where Republican-nominated Justices are in the majority, it was taken as a done deal that Obamacare is over. Convinced beyond doubt, Republicans matched to the apex court with enthusiasm, anticipating the expected, they were wrong. Justice Roberts was unwilling to be a willing tool in the arsenal of the President and Republicans to turn the apex court into a toothless bulldog whose decision was expected to reflect political persuasion. Today, unlike in the era of Justice William Rehnquist and Antonio Scalia, no one can predict the decision of the Supreme Court again. And that's awesome.
