"Move on to the beat and let the rhythm move your feet ..."
Dynasty - who can forget this group during the height of the Disco in the 80s. Ozi, I do not know how old you were when they visited Nigeria on a musical tour, courtesy of Silver Bird Production (Ben Bruce). I was very young at the time and couldn't attend any of their events. What most people didn't know about the group at the time was that the tall dude on Guita, Leon Sylvers III (wearing a yellow dress), wrote and produced most of the hit songs for "The Whispers" (And the Beat Goes On) and "Shalamar" (The Second Time Around), all parts of the Solar Music Empire. "The Brother Johnsons" and "Lakesides" were also part of the label. By the way, the Brother Johnsons were also in Nigeria and they performed in Lagos and Benin City (Uniben Campus). That was an era of Soul, Funks, and Rhythms unlimited.
