My Personality of the Year 2017: Mrs. Aisha Buhari, the Nigerian First Lady.

Alex Aidaghese shared Aisha Muhammadu Buhari's photo.
It's all about the audacity, the disturbing truth and the wisdom to articulate it, even when you have nothing to gain. Mrs. Aisha Buhari stepped beyond the bounds of normalcy and cried out loud about the derelict state of the Aso Rock Clinic. She lamented over the "hijacked" of a Progressive Mandate by interlopers, culminating in the coinage of the term "a cabal within the administration." And when the administration reneged on its promise to pay the N5K stipend to unemployed Nigerian youths, she reminded them to honor their promise. Above all, she threatened to abandon the ship come 2019, if the continuous drift in the high seas is not abated. In all the enumerated instances above, she was the first to identify the problem and to speak out. A one of a kind of a First Lady, no doubt. Now, pause, and trade spaces with her for a second, and ask yourself, can I do or say any of these, if I am in her position? You wouldn't. Now you know why she is my Personality of the Year, 2017. It takes courage to do what she is doing.
