News Reporting vs Factual Analysis

(1) President Buhari did not become the President of Nigeria Yesterday. Therefore, the enumerated meetings in the attached are strategically inconsequential and almost time-barred - mercy after death.
(2) It is not the volume of meetings the President had or is having with stakeholders, Governors and Security Personnel that matters. It is how they impacted the surge in the killings and reprisal attacks going on in and around the Middle Belt.
By the way, your Bornu State is experiencing an unprecedented surge in suicide bombings. And a real battle is going on between the Tivs and the Herders as we write. So, those who are writing and complaining about the President's helplessness are supremely justified in doing so.

Mustapha Shehu Mustash The president has our votes in Borno. We know what we went through. It's only on social media that people think the Buhari administration failed on Boko Haram.

One of the greatest problems about the Benue killings is the press and not the president and his meetings. Unfortunately, we have a media climate dominated by untrained and unprofessional journalists.

Alex AidagheseSir, the facts on the ground are not helpful or persuasive enough in the case you're trying to make. What I feared the most in my previous essay on the matter is evolving right now in Benue, Taraba and Plateau States - reprisal attacks and self-defence. Directly indicative of the President's lackadaisical approach or response, when his leadership was most needed.

Mustapha Shehu Mustash I am not making any argument. Just stating the facts. I should know because both Borno and the media are my constituencies.
