Myetti Allah and the Definition of Empty Threat.

Another name for the title is Empty Boast.
The first rule of thumb in combat is to situate yourself at a competitive edge and operate from a position of strength. And that's what Fulani Herdsmen and their principal owners (the very powerful, the very influential, and the very connected behind the scene Cattle Merchants) enjoy the most. Strength. Going by their modus operandi, the law of Trespass or Trespass to land is alien to them - cultivated or not, the land belongs to no one, but the fittest.
Miyetti Allah is banking on the strength of its touted West African tribal armed forces. April 25, 2016, about 500 of them invaded Nimbo Village in Enugu State at about 6 a.m in the early morning. They came without notice and they slaughtered, killed, maimed, and disappeared without notice. It was a very successful mission.
If they had wanted to sack the traditional ruler of Nimbo Village and impose one of their own as the king, similar to what took place in Kwara and some parts of Kogi, Kaduna and the entire North West pre-amalgamation, they would have succeeded.
But time has changed, thanks to technology and the emergence of information super-highway. If an invasion is underway in any part of Nigeria today, as long as you have a phone with an internet connection, you are reading and following the development as it is unfolding. So, all the archaism, trust, and deceit that facilitated the conquest of the olden days have been overtaken by events.
Therefore, the question begs asking, how many Nimbo Village do we have in Nigeria? Uncountable numbers.
And that is a reality that the Miyetti Allah leadership should not overlook, and do a rethink in its conquering culture before plunging the entire West Africa sub-region into inter-tribal conflagrations, setting itself up, its followers, and its people for annihilation.
On the other hand, if Miyetti Allah is banking on the complicity and the under-cover logistics and military support from their sympathizers in the Nigerian Armed Forces, as they did in another Anambra Village a few years ago, they should also do a rethink.
(Some armed military boys came to Ogwaneshi village in a military vehicle, arrested about 70 young men and elders of the village on the allegation that they were planning a counter-attack on Fulani settlers who kidnapped two of their women and took them to Umuhia Army Station. They were later released after about two weeks).
That was also a very successful mission by the colluding men in uniforms. But the question remains, how many of such villages do we have in the Middle Belt region and the entire South? Uncountable numbers. Any attempt of the military to do a repeat, it is setting itself for a mutiny within the force that would put an end to the geographical expression called Nigeria.
Therefore, these Governors should remain unshaken and unwavering in their resolve, to wit, no grazing land for foreign cattle herders you cannot domesticate a group whose knacks for killing and rapping are beyond the ordinary.
